Parkin tells the story of her life in radio, starting with a musical trio, and several other acts, doing broadcasts in Saskatoon, then moving to Edmonton to write continuity and perform a multitude of other duties with CJCA, and eventually being transferred to Winnipeg to take over operations at CJRC (which then became CKRC).
