Recherche dans la collection - William Guy Wall collection [graphic material]

Two prints entitled: "Fort Edward" and "View near Fort Montgomery" [New York]. Works by William Guy Wall (1792-after 1864), engraved by John Hill (1770-1850).
This is a retrospective accession. The information about it is found in RG 37 "C" Series, Volume 339, File 1912-13-142, and in the Artist File 705-710.
These two works are probably part of the 20 plates that make up the "Hudson River Portfolio" (1820-1825). See the Artist File 705-710 for more information.
The print entitled "Fort Edward" has part of the title erased and covered with the mat.
