This is a retrospective accession. The information about it is found in RG 37 "C" Series, Volume 340, File 1932-71, in the Picture Division Accession Book 1921-1931 (Oct. 15, 1931 entry), and in the artist file 705-738, items II-1, II-2, II-3, II-5.
A fifth print in this set, entitled "Side of the American Fall & Horse Shoe Fall in the distance", was acquired by the NA at a later date. See Acc. No. 1934-383 (C-018516).
All four prints bear the catalogue date 16/10/31.
