A collection of 25 selected drawings, by Canadian/Australian artist Robert Ulmann depicting various activities, locations, and native personalities associated with the Inuit peoples living mainly in the Coppermine and adjacent areas of the Northwest Territories. Subject matter and/or themes represented in the collection include the following: campsites; children; ceremonial activities (i.e. men and women singing and dancing); ceremonial dress; ceremonial instruments (i.e. drums/tom-toms); dogsleding; dwellings; everyday work activities (i.e. Inuit male seal hunting, Inuit women scraping seal skins); Husky dogs; portraits of various male and female personalities; everyday Winter dress. The various locations represented include: Asiak River, Basil Bay, Coppermine, Rae Falls Camp, and Spence Bay.
