Fonds consists of: portrait of pianist and composer Arthur Benjamin who worked with Vancouver orchestras and performers between 1939 and 1946; portrait of composer and editor Jean Coulthard (1908-), one of Canada's first west coast performers to achieve recognition for her modernist compositions; portrait of Lady Drummond (Grace Julia Parker).

Mortimer-Lamb, Harold, 1872-1970 : Harold Mortimer-Lamb, born 21 May 1872, Leatherhead, Surrey, England; died 25 October 1970, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Harold Mortimer-Lamb was a son of an English navel officer and emigrated to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in 1889 with the intention of becoming a farmer. He soon discovered a talent for journalism. Mortimer-Lamb was editor of the Chilliwack Progress and The Midway Advance. He became interested in photography around the year1898. In 1904, he received the distinction of an Honourary Membership in the London Salon of Photography in England. In 1907, Mortimer-Lamb took part in a landmark Canadian show entitled the "Photo-Club of Canada" exhibition in Montreal, which was organized by Sydney Carter, another Canadian photographer. The two became professional partners in Montreal however that partnership lasted only one year. Mortimer-Lamb was a member of the "Royal Photographic Society", the "Canadian Art Club", and "The Arts Club" of Montreal. In 1920 or 1921, he returned to British Columbia. In the 1940's Mortimer-Lamb gave up photography altogether to focus on painting. He had three painting exhibitions before his death at age 98. Mortimer-Lamb is the father of artist Molly Lamb-Bobak.
