The Governor General, the Earl of Athlone, opens the exhibit. The footage shows the exhibit and some of the visitors, exhibit judges and artists. The Associated Screen News Limited Caption Sheet lists details of the two rolls Roy Tash shot at this event, including artist Molly Lamb with her picture Pay Parade, Bulah Jaenicke with her work Temporary Hut, Sergeant Tom Miller with his painting Nurse Campsall, a close-up of The Toastmakers drawn by Bdr. D.
