This album, comprised of 109 pages on which 524 photographs are mounted, is a continuation of the first three albums of this sub-sub-series, depicting Burwash's work for the Department of the Interior in the North. Travelling in the vessel Fort Chesterfield, some of the subjects in this album include: the Hudson's Bay Company establishing posts, old Fort Prince of Wales, arctic flowers and vegetation, and fishing practices in Labrador. The majority of photographs are portraits of Inuit and Native "types" from Chesterfield Inlet, Fort Charlton, and Hebron, Labrador. There are also many portraits of Hudson's Bay Company employees, not to mention Burwash himself. Photos by L.T. Burwash, special investigator for the Department of the Interior. There are also some prints by Corporal Mc(G?)innis from 1931 that document the Leaf River Inuit.
