Jennings began the company to produce feature films, but has expanded into producing television movies, series and children's programming for both domestic and international markets.The company has built a reputation as a leader in the area of international co-productions with the United Kingdom. Shaftesbury has also established SK Films (subsidiary), together with IMAX Corp. co-founder Robert Kerr, with the goal to produce, develop and distribute large format films to IMAX and similar big screen theatres around the world. Shaftesbury's corporate strategy has been to build a strong, multi-format entertainment content company, and to create and deliver distinctive, high-quality product for worldwide commercial exploitation.
