Accession consists of published maps of radio systems and a map of Canada showing roads and railroads. Also included is a booklet of telegraph tariffs with a map of Canadian Pacific imperial telegraph routes on the back. Booklet is titled: Rules, regulations and tariffs / Cable and Wireless Ltd.

Cartographic material: Several of the maps show evidence of water damage, minor wear and tear. Items have been conserved. Some are mounted on cardboard to prevent further damage.

Accession was transferred from Federal Archives Division accession 1983-84/014 in 1983.
