Collection consists of programs of the Edmonton Prophetic Bible Conferences, including speeches by William Aberhart, Premier of Alberta, about religion, the economy, politics and the Social Credit Party. Also includes talks by members of the provincial government of Alberta about finance, the banking system, Social Credit Party and the monetary system.

Canadian Bankers' Association : The Canadian Bankers Association (CBA) is a professional industry association that provides its members - the chartered banks of Canada - with information, research, advocacy and operational support services. Established in 1891, the CBA is the main representative body for banks in Canada and today represents over 40 domestic and foreign-chartered banks in Canada. The mission of the Association is to be a leading contributor in the development of public policy on the financial services sector. Through a wide range of activities including consultations, reports, submissions, speeches, publications and fact sheets, the CBA helps promote an understanding of the banking industry to the Canadian public, all levels of governments, international bodies, interest groups and the media. The Association also provides a forum for dialogue between these groups and the banks. Educational programs are offered to bank staff and other financial services professionals through The Institute of Canadian Bankers (ICB) and other means. The CBA publishes Canadian Banker, an online analysis of issues of interest to the banking industry and the changing financial services environment. Both nationally and internationally, the Association actively co-operates with other organizations in developing industry standards and conventions to enhance the efficiency and soundness of the financial system. Historique de la conservation :

These audio discs were originally borrowed for copying by the National Archives in 1974 and were the originals were then returned to the donor. In 1988 the Canadian Bankers' Association donated the original discs.
