According to the Serres artist file, and the Scott artist file there are also two photographs of the Scott paintings in the collection.

The two paintings: "A View of the Treasury and Jesuits College, Quebec City" and "A View of the Church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Victoire, Quebec City" were purchased by the Public Archives in 1933, and a label on the verso of one indicates that they came from one of the Townshend family houses in Norfolk, England. The two paintings: "The Defeat of the French Fireship Attack, 28 June 1759" and "The Defeat of the French Fireraft Attack, 28 July 1759" were purchased in 1931 from John Cusack, a Montreal art dealer, by Arthur Doughty and are copies by an unknown artist after Serres who in turn copied original versions by Samuel Scott. The print: "Entrance to Halifax Harbour" was acquired in 1951. The photographic copy of the painting "Destruction of the American Fleet at Penobscot Bay Aug. 14, 1779" was acquired before 1962.
