Panel discussion on the credibility of journalists who leave journalism to work for the government or business and who subsequently return to the practice of journalism. The panelists are Justin de Beaucamp, former CBC Television reporter and press secretary to Flora MacDonald (former Minister of Employment and Immigration) who is now a reporter back for CBOT-TV Ottawa; Terry Hargreaves, former CBC radio and television bureau chief and head of government relations for Dome Petroleum who later returned to journalism as a writer for Maclean's magazine (he is currently senior adviser to CBC President Pierre Juneau); Luc Lavoie, former TVA Ottawa correspondent who became senior adviser to Marcel Masse, Minister of Energy Mines and Resources; moderator, Murray Goldblatt, professor of Journalism, Carleton University.
