The series comprises additional material received in 1997, arranged alphabetically in eleven groupings, as follows: Address Books; Catholic Information Centre; Clippings; Correspondence; Donald Demarco; Exhibitions and Reproductions; Financial Records; Jewish Life in Canada; Manuscripts; Memorabilia; and National Film Board. The Address books files include four address books kept by William Kurelek. The Catholic Information Centre files include course notes, Kurelek's own notes and rough sketches and diagrams, and exam papers relating to a course he took at the Catholic Information Centre in Toronto, to prepare him for teaching Catholic doctrine to others. The Clippings files include clippings of reviews of Kurelek's exhibitions and publications, magazine spreads of his work, and articles about him in newspapers, including a photocopy of a typescript of an article by Robert Fulford. The Correspondence files include a small amount of correspondence in English, including letters from Margaret Smith, Robert Fulford, Vladimir Horik, Len Gasparini, and two former classmates. There are also approximately 130 letters and cards in Ukrainian; including ones from Adriana Lysak, Maria Logush, Jacques Hnizdovsky, Ola Zahrebelna, Lida and Roman Smyky, Olia Kolankinsky, Bohdon Melnyck, Dmytro Shtohryn, Michael Euranchuk, and others.
The Donald Demarco files include photocopied typescripts by Demarco about Kurelek's painting and an essay reflecting the writer's anti-abortion views. The Exhibitions and Reproductions files include notices and catalogues of various Kurelek exhibitions and reproductions of his work on cards. The Financial Records files include memorabilia such as unemployment insurance cards, YWCA cards, a film club membership card, receipts from art colleges, travel receipts, a receipt for an accordion, notes on Mexico, a bank book, and records relating to a charitable organization set up by Kurelek to deliver aid to India, including its by-laws. The Jewish Life in Canada files include research material, evidently supplied by A.J. Arnold who wrote the text (note: sketch by WK on envelope).
The Memorabilia files include a certificate documenting Kurelek's instruction in Ukrainian dance under Vasile Avramenko, programmes relating to Ukrainian dance (Vasile Avramenko's "Glory to Canada" pageant at the Playhouse Theatre, Winnipeg 1946; a United Nations Festival, Hamilton 1960; and the spring ball of the Ukrainian Business and Professional Federation, Toronto, 1975), an honorary degree and a Christian Culture Award 1977, and other material. The Manuscripts files include drafts by Kurelek of letters to the editor (expressing his views on religious instruction for children, separate schools and pornography in art), and letters to various correspondents, including a travel companion in Mexico, Kurelek's brother and sisters, Margaret Smith, James Maas of Cornell University, a client at Av Isaacs' Gallery, and others; also included are notes by Kurelek on art and religion, including a discourse on pornographic art, notes on specific paintings and series of paintings, autobiographical notes (some possibly for the NFB's 1966 film Kurelek), verse and prayers, and miscellaneous notes. The National Film Board files include documentation on a proposed NFB film on Kurelek to be produced by Anne Wheeler and written by Harvey Spak, including correspondence from Wheeler to Jean Kurelek and copies of Spak's treatment and script draft.
