This accession consists of central registry files created at the Cornwall office. A small number of the records concern access to information, employee recruitment, disclosure of personal holdings and grievances registered by the Operating and Maintenance Group as a result of the 1986 lock reorganization.
Also included are files that pertain to the Seaway's 25th Anniversary celebrations (1989) and Seaway-generated publications. Other files blocks pertain to rights of way, real property management policy, business development and promotion at trade fairs, violations of navigation rules and regulations and membership in and activities associated with the Permanent International Association of Navigation Congresses (PIANC).
This accession also incorporates some Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated primary '90' files which relate to such subjects as Auditor-General reports, sexual harassment in the work place, employment equity (policy) and employee recruiting.
