RG12M 118-000009-3: Technical drawings: The aircraft registration designation is written directly on the sheet, or on a sticker pasted to the sheet.

Some items are approval stamped by the Dept. of Transport's Air Services Division, or its Aeronautical Engineering Division.

Items #64-65 are stamped: Kovachik Aircraft Service, RR 6, Milton [Ont.].

Item #64 has a routing slip glued to it.

Items #66-67 need additional tears repaired.

RG12M 118-000009-3 was transferred from GAD accession 1990-91/009 on 31 Jan. 1997.

Where it has been possible, file blocks have been designated as their own series within this fonds if the record-creating body could be identified. The file blocks in this series, however, were true central registry blocks that were added to by numerous departments or agencies within the Department of Transport.

Researchers should also consult the appropriate Service and Regional Office series for related central registry files., In addition to this general central registry classification system, Transport Canada employed a classified registry file system (succeeded by the Executive Administration registry file system sometime during the 1970s). These two-digit (later three-digit) primaries were used to organize files with a security classification of secret and above. These files usually contain high-level policy or operational files dealing with sensitive issues. Files from this classified registry system may be found in the Classified registry file series (MIKAN 133871).
