Accession consists of art works created by Lionel Fosbery and a portrait of him, as well as photographs and textual records relating to his work as an artist.
The textual records consist of correspondence and memoranda, largely relating to four projects undertaken by the artist Lionel Fosbery: his Ottawa Electric tablet 1927-1928; Duke of Windsor plaque 1937-1939, with letters from the British Royal Family; All Saints Church memorial cross 1951; and Sir Robert Borden bust 1954-1955, with a letter from the director of the National Gallery of Canada, H.O. McCurry. There is also correspondence and memoranda relating to publicity in "La Revue" 1927, including a letter from Fosbery giving an account of his life and career, and a couple of miscellaneous and posthumous items.
