Sub-series consists of typescripts, manuscript notes, printed material including research and publicity material as well as reviews, correspondence, sound recordings and other material relating to Ted Allan's writings for the stage. Included are files on "Chu Chem", "Double Image"/"Gog and Magog", "I've Seen You Cut Lemons", "Oh What a Lovely War", "Secret of the World", and other plays. Among the correspondents are John Mortimer, 1957 (transcript), Nathan Cohen, 1962, Sydney Newman, 1961, John Hirsch, 1981, and Herbert Whittaker, 1985. The sound recordings include a musical version of "Willie the Squowse", music written by Leonard Cohen for "Everyone Else a Stranger", a reading by a group of actors of "Secret of the World" and a script meeting for the play "Stiff Upper Lip".

Additional material includes files on "Chu Chem", with a letter from Spike Milligan, 1969; on "Gog and Magog" ("Double Image"), with a screen adaptation by Charles W. Dwyer; on "I've Seen You Cut Lemons" ("My Sister's Keeper"), with a letter from Leonard Cohen; on "Legend of Pepito"; on "The Money Makers" ("Ghost Writers"), with letters from Norman Jewison, Arthur Hiller and Moses Znaimer, 1973; on "Oh What a Lovely War", with letters from Robert Bolt and Arnold Wesker, 1963; on "The Secret of the World"; and on other plays.

Further additional material includes a film treatment of Allan's stage play, with Roger MacDougall, "Double Image", and files on the plays "All Saints" and "Everyone Else a Stranger", for which Leonard Cohen wrote the incidental music. Included is some correspondence and reviews.
