A & B Roll footage from "Airplane show in Paris", a segment of "CBC Newsmagazine", broadcast June 9, 1957. CBC reporter Douglas Lachance reports from Le Bourget airfield, outside Paris, on the aircraft being displayed and demonstrated there. He notes the attention being given the Canadian Avro CF-100 and its Orenda engine, improved fire-control radar, and computer navigation system; he notions the Dassault Super Mystère, Folland Grat, Tupoleu TU-104, and Potez(Air Fouga) Magister; and he comments on the proliferation of missiles at the show. After a break in the footage, the B 0011 shows complementary footage with views of the Altair Volant, Gremann Cougar, and an American surface-to-surface as well. Footage also includes shots of flight teams flying in formation. <10mn>
