Fonds consists of material relating to the National Congress of Italian Canadian (NCIC), which administered funds to aid earthquake-devastated areas of Italy, including report by the fact-finding advance party in 1976; Italian and Canadian initiatives; list of donations; minutes of meetings, progress; concerning correspondence with key members of the project; blueprints; leaders; contracts, deeds, progress reports; inauguration ceremonies, and the Friuli Book.

The fonds also contains photographs depicting the damage to various communities caused by the major earthquake north of Udine in the region of Friuli, May 1976; progress of the reconstruction projects financed by the Earthquake Relief Project in the following communities throughout the region of Friuli, Italy, 1976-1986: Anziani, Cividale del Friuli, Conegliano Veneta, Latisana, Maniago, Pianzano, Pordenone, Resia, Sacile, San Michele al Tagliamento, Sottomonte, Tapiana, Udine, Venzone; and reconstruction inauguration ceremonies attended by Hon. Dennis Timbrell representing the province of Ontario.

Diluca, Primo I, b1937-2017 : Primo I. DiLuca, community leader, was born in Codroipo, Italy and migrated to Canada in 1954. He was vice-president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, 1975-1977, a member of the Social Assistance Review Board of the Province of Ontario, 1977, of the Board of Directors of the Italian-Canadian Benevolent Corporation, 1977-1983, and of the Board of COSTI-IIAS, 1984-1985. In 1980, he was appointed a member of the Order of Canada.

Mr. DiLuca has also held various positions in the National Congress of Italian-Canadians (NCIC) and was appointed Co-ordinator for the Building and Technical Committee of the Friuli Earthquake Relief Project, a multi-million dollar Canadian aid program responsible for the reconstruction of six earth-devastated areas in Friuli. His responsibilities consisted of presenting suggestions and directives through progress reports. He closely supervised the project proposals and later the construction work done in Friuli. He was also instrumental in gathering funds for the entire relief project, from its beginning to its successful conclusion.
