This sub-series (formerly sub-series E XII) contains prints by predominantly anonymous photographers, although some may be by the Toronto Transportation Commission and/or the Toronto Harbour Commission, and includes views of shipbuilding and other marine activity. Examples of subjects include shipbuilding, largely at Davie Shipbuilding & Repairing Company Ltd., Levis, Quebec; views of Toronto harbour, with vessels, railway engines, harbour buildings, possibly by the Toronto Harbour Commission; and a small group (ca. 40) of Toronto harbour scenes labelled "numerical series, BT series, HC series", likely referring to former sub-series C I.

Additionally there are views of Canadian railways and canals; electric railways; fire engines and automoblies; Grand Trunk lines and trains; a small group (ca.100) of steam engine and railways scenes, mostly of Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo Railway, early 1900's; and views in area of Toronto harbour, rail yards, streets with railway tracks, buildings, trolley barns, construction, possibly by the Toronto Transit Commission.
