The document is on parchment. The top edge is scalloped. There is red ink on the left border and at the beginning of the text. The document has five doodem (clan, also known by the anglicized term totem) signatures and seven red wax seals situated on seven blue ribbons woven through parchment.

The parchment brittle. The ink is faded and illegible in some spots. There are also small ink smears.
