The document is on parchment, written in gold ink, with a lined border. It also has three gold ribbons woven through it. There are seven wax seals which remain intact, and 34 doodem (clan, also known by the anglicized term totem) and clan signatures. A map is drawn on the second page with faded yellow shading. The map is initialled T.S.

The document is faded, brittle, and has torn edges.
