It is one of seven files of student data which were used in the evaluation of the pilot study of the Peer Assisted Learning Smoking Prevention Program (PAL program). The study was to measure the attractiveness, durability, ease of use and reading level of the PAL resource material; in addition, it was to determine the strength and weaknesses of the PAL process and to assess the impact of the PAL program, over the short term, on stabilizing smoking prevalence. This particular survey provides information about the activities that were related to the program; usefulness of the 'prepsheets'; attitude toward group activities; information about PAL material (eg. sticker, button, membership card and class poster); attitudes about the program.Provenance :Nom(s) additionnel(s) :Information additionnelle :Note générale :For an explanation of the codes for the first seven variables, refer to pg. 5 of the Abt Associates report.
