Also included in fonds is a sound recording of a talk and spot announcement by Claude Jodoin, president of the Canadian Labour Congress, recorded on Labour Day 1960.Provenance :Biographie/Histoire administrative :Kitchener-Waterloo and District Labour Council : The Berlin Twin City Trades and Labor Council was established in 1900; in 1916 it was renamed the Kitchener Twin City Trades and Labor Council. The Twin Cities Labor Council, Kitchener-Waterloo, was set up in 1941 by the local unions affiliated with the Canadian Congress of Labour and the Congress of Industrial Organizations.
