This consists of ten interview cuts recorded for the radio series Our Canada, telling the story of the events, ordinary people and developments in the railways, wheatlands, waterways, mines, airways, industries, communications, arts, governments, philanthropies and religions that have shaped Canada. A native of Poland who came to Regina in 1906 at the age of 13 describes his life in Regina. There are 3 takes of this. Another man speaks about the history and status of aviation in Regina. By the end of this the speaker's breathing and speech is laboured. A man of Hungarian descent describes his emigration to Regina in 1911, his family and his work. A native of Sweden describes his 1913 emigration to Edmonton and his later move to Regina. A native of Yugoslavia talks about coming to Canada in 1907. There are two incomplete takes of this. Another man talks about the harvest of Saskatchewan's crop of wheat and coarse grains, which will be needed to feed the peoples of the devastated areas of Europe. He discusses the need for harvest workers, emphasizing that responsibility for the harvest rests upon every citizen. There are two addition takes of the talk on the history of aviation in Regina.
