Fonds consists of photocopies of correspondence, 1936, 1952, 1957-1958, relating to the flight to Fort Norman in 1921; log book, 1936-1946; articles by Fullerton regarding the Fort Norman flights, the use of the magnetic compass in aircraft and his first parachute jump.

Fonds consists of copies of photographs, ca. 1920-1960, depicting events in the career of E.G. Fullerton, including his flights in "Vic" and "Rene" aircraft of Imperial Oil Ltd.; portrait of E.G. Fullerton.

Fullerton, Elmer Garfield, 1891-1968 : Born in Pictou, Nova Scotia and educated at the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario, Elmer G. Fullerton, air officer, aviator, served with the Royal Canadian Engineers, the Royal Naval Air Service and the Royal Air Force during World War I. Following the war, with the exception of 1921-22 when he made some sub-Arctic bush flights into Fort Norman for Imperial Oil, Fullerton served with the Canadian Air Force and the Royal Canadian Air Force. In 1925 he became a flying instructor at Camp Borden, in 1930 chief flying instructor, and retired in 1946 as Commanding Officer at Trenton, Ontario. He was awarded the McKee Trophy in 1934. He was the author of several technical articles on the magnetic compass.
