Interview of Sir Bernard Lovell, Director of Britain's Jodrell Bank Observatory by British writer and broadcaster John Wren-Lewis. Sir Bernard talks about his personal insights gained by years of scientific research. He suggests that scientific knowledge must pass over into knowledge of the metaphysical and theological which he says have equal validity. He also thinks that the arrogance of youth presumes falsely that scientific knowledge is the only knowledge. Included in this show are various shots of banks of monitoring equipment in the observatory.
