Personalities interviewed include: Maurice Rapkin, a jingle writer from Toronto; Mitch Leigh and Ben McPeek of Music Makers Incorporated; Robert Swanson, musician for Swanson Productions and Barbara Chisholm, child psychologist. Topics discussed include: Rapkin's personal method of writing jingles (samples of his famous jingles are presented); the emotional impact of commercial underscores; the cost of jingles; the importance of music in a jingle; the harmful effects of television advertising techniques on children. Also featured: footage of a jingle in the process of being recorded by a singing group consisting of Art Holman, Donna Miller, Dorethe Dear, and Elliot Van Everen; footage of children imitating jingles they remember from television; still shots of Frank Willis with a jingle providing a voice over, as an opening to the program.
