Unedited footage of Castro and Cuban society at the time of his rise to power. The following brief shots are shown: on-the-street opinions of Castro; family discussion occuring around a dinner table; an upper class Argentinian woman describing support that Castro enjoys in Latin America; man walking into luxurious hotel which houses a casino; young men and women in street clothes marching in separate groups, with the men carrying rifles; University of Havana students answering interviewer's questions about Castro and the revolution; Castro answering questions before CMQ T.V. cameras; Cuban male citizen expressing disappointment with Castro's revolution; interview with a Cuban revolutionary in army uniform; a parade; city street scenes in Cuba; and Castro giving speech before a cheering crowd. Sound failure occurs in many of the above shots.
