The fonds consists of a file on Grandpex stamp show held at Cambridge (Ontario), April 26-29, 1979 and contains correspondance and details about the organization of the show and of the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada 1979 Convention.

Street, Michael : H. Michael (Mike) Street was born and raised in Montréal (Québec). After graduating from Loyola College and McGill University he began a 32-year career as a professional engineer, working in Ontario Hydro's coal-fired generating stations. He and his wife, Carol, live now in Ancaster (Ontario).

Returning to his childhood hobby of stamp collecting after university, Mike Street discovered the field of postal history and became very involved in Canadian philately, serving in the following positions: editor of the Grand News, the Bulletin of the Grand River Valley Philatelic Association (1976-1981), and of BNA Topics, the official publication of the British North America Philatelic Society (1981-1989); accredited local and national level judge by the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (1976-1998); Elected First Vice-President (1993-1996), member/chairman on Publications Committee (1990-2000, 2004-2006) and coordinator book publishing and sales (2004-2006) of the British North America Philatelic Society . Mike Street was elected to BNAPS' Order of the Beaver in 1992.

His personal collections include the rates of the Canadian Peace issue period (1946-1952), Canadian barrel cancellations and the postal history of Ancaster, Ontario.
