Barron describes his early youth in Dawson City to interviewer Grace Lydiatt Shaw. Among his theatrical memories are Mother Lang and the Juvenile Bostonians, but he also speaks of the people he and his family knew among the townspeople, and the atmosphere in which everyone lived. Barron and his brother were the first graduates of Dawson High School, in the years around the turn of the century.
