Footage shows miners sinking a mine shaft at Creighton mine, shovelling ore out of stopes, blasting, drilling, and setting timbers; workers tempering and re-ending drill steel in the company repair shop; and the smelting process at Copper Cliff. Ore is ground in rod mills, separated from waste by flotation, thickened, roasted, melted, converted, cast, re-melted, treated, and re-cast such that the nickel sulphide sinks to the bottom and a copper-soda mix rises to the top. The cooled ingots are broken and prepared for shipment to refineries. Other footage shows the Inco power plant at nearby High Falls.
