[ISOTHERMAL TRANSFORMATION OF AUSTENITE IN AN IRON-28.8% NICKEL ALLOY] is the title appearing on documentation included with the film, though the film's title card reads ROOM TEMPERATURE ISOTHERMAL TRANSFORMATION OF AUSTENITE IN AN IRON-28.8% NICKEL ALLOY. This accompanying document explains the experiment in some detail.~2. [MARAGING STEELS] is written on the leader of the film though this is properly the title of another, similar film.~3. The Canadian and American versions differ only in the designation of the Inco branch responsible for making, sponsoring, and distributing the film.~4. Dated from earliest Kodak stock edge code on American version.~5. Footage of experiment identical to that in MARAGING STEELS.~6. Micro-photography was likely done at the Paul D. Merica Research Laboratory, Sterling Forest, Suffern, New York.
