Complementary in many ways to the episode preceding it, this broadcast continues the story of late nineteenth and early twentieth century theatre in small town Canada. This program's title, 10-20-30 refers to the standard fee for admission to the pit, lower, and upper balconies throughout the small time circuits. The taped interviews are redolent of a different era, when towns across Canada were making their own theatrical history. The broadcast details the series of artistic and business ties that ran from London and New York, through cities like Montreal, Halifax and Winnipeg, and into the lives of the patrons of the 10-20-30 houses.
