This sub-series is composed of incoming correspondence addressed to the Minister of Industry Allan Rock between 2002 and 2003. The records consist of letters from constituents throughout the country, public figures, dignitaries, as well as politicians. The correspondence received by the Minister's office also contains related documents, such as greeting cards, brochures, publications, and newspaper clippings. When the correspondence unit of the minister's office received letters addressed to Allan Rock, they systematically joined a reference sheet called "OCS Coding Sheet" that details the action taken by the correspondence's staff. In the cases where an answer was sent by Allan Rock's office, the letter is joined together with the incoming correspondence. Both the incoming correspondence and the Minister's response are present within this sub-series.

Records consist of, but are not limited to, correspondence, memoranda, draft letters, briefing notes, handwritten notes from the Minister and his executive assistants, speeches, curriculum vitae, news clippings, transcripts, and greeting cards.

This correspondence was organized by the correspondence unit of the Ministry of Industry and Innovation. The letters that were labelled "Transfer", "Wrongdoing" and "Personal" by the Ministry were sent directly sent to the Minister's Office, which then responded to the letters. Because the correspondence was organized by the Ministry, each folder was given a title as a volume from 1 to 60. Each volume corresponds to a specific month between January 2002 and December 2003. The archivist preserved the original arrangement.
