Footage shows the pouring and storage of "blister" (99% pure) copper at Inco's smelting plant in Copper Cliff, Ontario; a train taking the copper to the nearby Ontario Copper Refinery; the copper being charged into an anode furnace and poled with green wood to eliminate oxides; the molten metal being cast in anode form, cooled, stacked, and loaded into electrolytic tanks; the pure copper being stripped from cathode sheets, melted in electric arc furnaces, and cast in usable shapes; and the final product stacked in a large warehouse.
