Album contains photographs from Gordon Robertson's trip to Nigeria while Clerk of the Privy Council and Secretary to the Cabinet. Photographs show Gordon Robertson on arrival in Lagos, being greeted by Mr. C. O. Lawson, Secretary to the Federal Military Government and Head of Federal Civil Service of Nigeria; at a briefing session with Federal Permanent Secretaries; visiting Brigadier Mobolaji Johnson, the Lagos State Governor; having lunch with the Federal Permanent Secretaries; visiting the Lagos Museum of Antiquities; at a dinner party with Chief Henry Fajemirokun; meeting with Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon; giving a lecture at the Institute of International Affairs; at an official dinner, and receiving gifts of Nigerian arts and crafts. Kenneth Wardroper, Canadian High Commissioner to Nigeria also appears in some photos.
