Accession consists of case files dealing with real property law and land matters, created and/or maintained by the Department of Justice, Prairie Regional Office in Edmonton. Subjects include but are not limited to acquisition of properties and land for the RCMP, First Nations land and property records, and files relating to the Public Lands Grants Act and a Western Canadian gas company. Also included is a set of rolled technical drawings associated with a Municipal Affairs Agreement dealing with Water and Sewer Systems for the Fort Chippewan reserve. Records are arranged according to the department's file classification system.
