Twenty years ago, when he travelled around the world, he visited the Yukon, and that was the end of it. He loved it there. He got a commercial pilot license, and founded Alpine Aviation. He owns four bush planes and during the busy summer season he’s contracting other pilots as well. This documentary follows Gerd on his many adventures. He’s one of the most experienced pilots here in the North, and does it all: round trips for families, tourist and material transports into far remote areas.
