St. Theresa's Hospital, operated by the Grey Nuns, opened in Chesterfield Inlet in 1931. This video is about the programs they offer in the hospital to help handicapped and disabled people. A second segment shows Gjoa Haven (Uqsuqtuuq) people fishing in the river using fishing spears (kakivak). In a third segment, the search and rescue crew make landmarks for use by young hunters. They think they will be helpful for all hunters, as they have already proven useful.
