Original patent remark reads: "Provided... That this Patent is Issued and Accepted With the Understanding That the Said Company Will Construct and Maintain Farm Crossings At Points Where the Said Right of Way is Crossed by Existing Trails of Roads Or At Such other Points As the Department of Indian Affairs May Request and Without Recourse Against the Dominion Government in Event of Any Establishment of Any Claim on the Part of Or Under the Province of British Columbia To the Said Land Or Any Interest Therein." Original lot remark reads: "Other Lots: the 2 other Lots Are in the Matsqui Main I.R. #2."
