This program deal with two jazz musicians who've been playing it and living it all their lives: blues singer 'Big Miller' who lives in Edmonton, Alberta and saxophonist Sayyd Abdul Al-khabyyr, who has his own club in Montreal. Montreal freelancer David MacMurray went to see them both. Western Canadian music buffs could hardly believe their good fortune, when ten years ago, black American singer and trombonist, Clarence Henry 'Big' Miller, decided to stop travelling and settle down for good in Edmonton, Alberta. Among real connoisseurs, Big Miller is known as the best remaining interpreter of the 'Kansas City sound' in jazz and blues and he's now giving jazz workshops as well as playing. IN: Music ('I've got a right')... OUT: ... music ('to sing the blues'). <11mn 2s>Langue :EnglishRemarques :Détails de l'inventaire : -
