Ninety-five percent of the congregation is from the Caribbean. Despite the cold Canadian winter, the size of Canadian cities and the very different Canadian lifestyle, people from the Caribbean do manage to maintain a strong religious life in Canada. Caribbean churches in Canada are, however, encountering some problems. In this special documentary prepared by Jon Kalina, some of those problems will be explored. You will hear parts of the service at the Bible Way Pentecostal Church, which he attended, and the conversations he had afterwards with Pastors St. Claire Knights and Winfield Hope. As well, you will hear Pastor Robert Samms and Mr. Sean Ford of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, also in Montreal. First, though, the Bible Way congregation warms up.
