Department of National DefenceGénérique (équipe de production) :intervieweur, John MacFarlaneDescription :Jean-Baptiste Lainé a participé à une entrevue avec John MacFarlane dans le cadre du projet Histoire des autochtones dans les Forces Armées canadiennes de la Direction - Histoire et patrimoine de la Défense nationale. L'entrevue s'est déroulée le 25 septembre 2001 à Wendake, QC.L'entrevue débute avec M. Lainé qui raconte sa jeunesse et les différents emplois et de la vision des militaires entretenue par sa communauté. Il est appelé à faire partie de l'armée en 1940. Il traite de ses différents entraînements en 1941-1942 à travers le Canada. Il se rendra en Angleterre en 1945 à la fin de la guerre et y relate ses expériences et de l'atmosphère qui y régnait.M.
