Opens with an appeal from the Canadian Highlanders for recruits to the 13th, 42nd and 73rd Battalions. Cuts to training camp with soldiers marching and receiving instruction. Soldiers then board the troop ships and relax, read, and smoke. Officers pose. The ship pulls away from the dock and all wave. Cuts to disembarkation, soldiers load trucks and wagons and ride away. Others are loaded onto trains. Another troopship is loaded. Australians parade on the dock with their flag. More shots of loading ships and trains with soldiers (possibly American).
