This sub-sub-series consists of a selection of photographs chosen by the official photographers that relate to activities or events attended by Stephen Harper as Prime Minister of Canada for the month of December 2010.

The month was marked by various Christmas and Hanukkah events. For example, there are photographs of Mr. Harper at an event at 24 Sussex marking the beginning of Hanukkah in the presence of several members of the Jewish community (December 1) and at the inauguration of the Christmas Lights Across Canada on Parliament Hill with his daughter Rachel (December 2).

The sub-sub-series also shows the arrival of the gingerbread house at 24 Sussex (December 9) and the Top Five Christmas dinner, which included Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin, Senate Speaker Noël Kinsella, House of Commons Speaker Peter Milliken and Governor General David Johnston (December 12).

The photographs also document Stephen and Laureen Harper's participation in a benefit concert in Calgary for the Veterans Food Bank and Laureen Harper's volunteer work for Meals on Wheels in Calgary (December 22).

In addition, the sub-sub-series documents the Prime Minister and his band, Herringbone, performing at the Conservative Party's Christmas party in Ottawa (December 8). Mr. Harper sang and played several rock songs on the piano. There are also many photographs of the Prime Minister and his band rehearsing in the days leading up to the event (December 6 and 7).
