This file contains architectural and design drawings of the proposed, but never built, Commonwealth Place pavilion. This pavilion was initially conceptualized to house smaller countries or exhibit boutiques from member nations of the British Commonwealth in one shared space. Following initial promotional activities, it was decided to accomodate African Commonwealth nations into the Africa Place pavilion (see Key. reference no. 462 and 463) and to produce a second pavilion for Commonwealth Island countries; however most of these proposed countries opted to build their own individual pavilions or not to participate in Expo 67 and the project was abandoned.
