The series consists of records documenting Jack Donohue's broadcasting and public speaking activities. It includes photos of guests and of the filming of the television series Donohue's Legends as well as promotional material for the series. Guests depicted in the photos include actor and athlete Chuck Connors, the gymnast Nadia Comaneci, hockey great Wayne and his father, Walter Gretzky, baseball players Bill Lee, Woody Fryman and Jim Barr, hockey player Emile Bouchard, and others. Some of the photographs are autographed.

The series includes photographs and audio cassettes of Jack Donohue at speaking engagements and social events across Canada. Among the events documented are his involvement as emcee/speaker at the Great Valentine Gala of the Canadian Foundation for Physically Disabled Persons, including photos of celebrity guests at the annual event, such as Bob Hope, Harry Belafonte, Tom Smothers, Red Buttons, etc. Other individuals also depicted in photos of the series include Gordie Howe, Alan Eagleson, Dave Steen, Rick Hansen, Danny Gallivan, Russ Jackson, Elsie Wayne, Iona Campagnolo and others. The series also includes audio cassettes of Donohue as a speaker or emcee in front of various audiences, including businesses and organizations; a promotional DVD for his public speaking services; radio interviews relating to his career and his role as spokesperson for the Year of the Coach in 1989; as well as short radio promos for charity events.
