Probably named by Champlain or de Monts in June 1604. After a disastrous winter spent on Île Sainte-Croix, de Monts' and Champlain's men moved their encampment to Port Royal in the spring of 1605.
Today Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia.
Scale: 5/8 of a mile to the inch.
This map is found "opposite page 22 (for page 23)" of the book Les voyages de 1613 de Samuel de Champlain, a copy of which is held by Library and Archives Canada (Amicus 4700723).
