This sub-series consists of material created for or by Ralph Waechter during his tenure at American Airlines, and R. Dixon Speas Associates.

More specifially, with regards to Amercan Airlinnes, there are letters offering him a position at the company and a letter of commendation about his work contributing to computer flight planning. There is also an IBM card certificate of completion and a copy of a newspaper clipping about the computer flight planning program, as well as a American Airlines publicity cilpping.

With regards to R. Dixon Speas Associates, there are a number of publicity brochures describing the scope of their operations, a photograph (with attached letter) of Ralph Waechter and another aircraft researcher while at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Langley Research Centre in Hampton, Virginia, and administrative correspondence relating to Waechter's employment tenure (including offer of acceptance in 1965 and also employment recommendation to de Havilland Aircraft of Canada in 1967).
